Let it snow!

Well folks, November 2006 is the wettest month in in Seattle in over 100 years of recorded history. The past three days it has snowed here! That doesnt really ever happen. And when it does - oh boy is it funny!!! People aren't used to driving, so lots of things shut down - and people slide down the snowy roads on cardboard boxes for fun, and build little snowmen all over.

Gregg ran out of the house around 11 pm and built us our very own snowman, Snowy. He was really super duper until his head melted off around midnight. His torso and bottom were just snowy lumps on a green lawn by morning. Oh dear snowy....

Up to Mt. Baker to go skiing this weekend! A cabin full of engineers, and me.

You call that snow?! Come up to Canada, Samanthatchka. You can build one hell of a snowman here.

Have fun skiing! And I sympathize with you about being away just with engineers. They're a weird bunch. Wonderful but weird.
